Isobel married Ralph Edward Beeler in 1942. Following the war they settled on a farm near Nokomis where she quickly became involved in the Saskatchewan Homemakers, 4-H leadership and the Nokomis Agricultural Society.

She joined the Mount Hope Homemakers' Club in 1950 and was an active member in Homemakers' and Women's Institutes for 49 years. She was home economics convener for the Govan district for two years and Saskatchewan provincial home economics convener for three years. In the 1960s she travelled widely working for Federated Co-operatives giving baking demonstrations. She also taught at Carlton Trail Community College giving cooking classes.

Isobel led the local homecraft club and later 4-H for 32 years and judged at Achievement days across the province. She and Ralph chaperoned a 4-H exchange trip to Pueblo , Colorado , and a school camping trip to the Cypress Hills.

She was an effective worker at the local agricultural society and also at fairs across Saskatchewan . She had a talent for recruiting volunteers. In addition to her work at Nokomis, Isobel judged in agricultural fairs at Central Butte , Prince Albert , Davidson, Melfort, Craik, Humboldt, Invermay, Shand and Hanley. For her contributions she was made an honorary life member of the Saskatchewan Association of Agricultural Societies and Exhibitions and honorary life member of the Nokomis Agricultural Society. In 1988 she received the Air Canada Community Service Award.
