In recognition of her contribution to bettering the quality of rural living, Armenia Carlson received life memberships in the Saskatchewan Womenís Institute, the Saskatchewan School Trustees Association, and the Saskatchewan Agricultural Societies Association. She has held numerous positions as delegate, director, vice-president and president of these organizations at either the local, regional or provincial level. Armenia Carlson also served on the Agricultural Extension Committee for Ag. Rep. District #26 for more than 25 years.

She was very active in the Superintendency section of the Saskatchewan School Trustees Association, serving as vice-president for many years and helping to compile the first ìGuide to Superintendencyî. She was president of the Tisdale Superintendency for 10 years.

A charter member of the Golburn Agricultural Society, Armenia Carlson held various director positions, and has been an annual exhibitor. Her high quality exhibits have been an inspiration and education to others.
